Stretch and balance are two main components of fitness.

Stretching not only feels great, it’s relaxing and helps our muscles to be long, flexible and safe from injury.

Balance keeps the brain alive and tests muscles in a beautifully natural way.

Aim to do a different stretch each day, hold the pose for 10 to 20 seconds, breath calmly and relax.  Stretching should never hurt and has no need for complication simply choose a stretch that appeals to you and hold that pose.

Do the same for your balance, stand on one foot while you brush your teeth or while you’re waiting for the kettle to boil and definitely pop your socks on while standing up!
